D Chord
The D chord (D major chord) is a must-know chord has been used in countless songs. It uses 4 strings and three fingers of the left hand. If you find it tricky, try the D7 shape first, as most people that slightly easier. D7 can sometimes be used instead of D, but by no means always, so it's essential to know both shapes.
