D Dorian on the 2nd string

D Dorian on the 2nd string
Here we learn D Dorian on the 2nd string. The Dorian mode is very common and is used in a wide range of styles.

Playing it on a single string allows us to see the order of whole steps and half steps (whole tones and semitones) very clearly. This can be visualized thus (whole tone = T, semitone = S):
T-S-T-T-T-S-T
Use any fingering that works for you.
