C Phrygian Scale in 3rds
This video shows a C Phrygian scale in 3rds. The Phrygian mode has a distinctive Spanish flavor and is often used in Latin, flamenco, jazz and fusion music.
The Phrygian mode differs by only one note from the Aeolian mode (also called natural minor). Compared to the Aeolian mode, the Phrygian mode has a flattened second:
