Using Major over minor - Example C Major over A minor
Major over minor - This example showcases on how to actually "think" in C Major, while still being in the key of A minor. This will give you a bit more of a different sound and taste than just "thinking" in A minor. Although both scales borrow from the same note material, thinking and being able to switch between both scales, tend to give you more of a "push/pull" or "question/answer" quality to your playing.
