Basic Jazz Blues
Come and learn how to play a "Jazz" Blues. The "Jazz Blues" is a little different than the regular 12 Bar Blues. It still has 12 bars (measures) as well as the I, Iv, and V chords. However, there are some added chords. For example, in measure eight there is a iii chord and a VI chord which pulls to the ii chord in measure 9 as the previous VI chord on the last two beats of measure eight functions as a V of this ii chord.
