G Dominant 7 Arpeggio - C Form - Now we show the C form of the G7 arpeggio. Instead of just playing the root, 3rd, 5th, and b7th, we play the root, 3rd, 5th, b7, root, 3rd, and 5th. The reason for this is so you can learn a pattern (shape) you can use for improvising. Therefore, we learn all of the notes in the position. Once we descend (go down the arpeggio) back to the root we also play the b7th and 5th below the root . . .
